About the Ceremony
Our Hocking Hills wedding ceremonies are short, simple, and elegant. Our usual wedding ceremony contains a greeting, wedding address, vows, and the exchange of rings. We have traditional vows, or you may feel free to write your own. With personalized vows, you can choose to read your vows to each other or to have the Officiant read them for you to repeat.
You can choose to wear blue jeans or a traditional gown and tuxedo…whatever your style may be.
Sometimes “now” is the best time to get married and if that’s the case, we can help. We can schedule your wedding ceremony with very little notice.
Wedding Ceremony Settings and Venues
Our Romantic Cabins and properties have multiple outdoor and wooded settings in which to exchange your wedding vows. The sights, sounds, and smells of Hocking Forest provide the perfect backdrop for your intimate wedding ceremony, and the wildlife and birds are sure to celebrate along with you.
You can choose from areas in the shelter of the woods or in open grassy areas. You may choose to pick a spot right next to the cabin, or say “I Do” in the ultimate privacy of your own cabin. The Log Gazebo at our Main Location is a favorite with our Brides and Grooms, and the “Clearing in the Woods” in which it is located features landscaped beds, arbors, benches, and a log swing...all designed to optimize your photographic memories of your special day. We can suggest honeymoon cabins and wedding ceremony locations based on what you tell us is important to you, or you can even pick your perfect spot once you arrive. It’s all about you and your special day!
