This was our second trip to Hocking Hills and by far the best! We arrived Saturday, got married Sunday, and relaxed on Monday, and regretfully had to leave on Tuesday. I’m sure we will be back, maybe for the winter. I love this cabin. It’s very charming and has everything we were hoping for! The staff here is very nice and the next time we come back, we will definitely be staying here. We didn’t really see any animals at the feeding station, our dog must have scared them off. Oh Well. The hot tub is amazing! This was the perfect place to get married and we can’t wait to come back soon.

Got Married yesterday.. in the middle of a thunderstorm! It was beautiful. Dinner at the Grouse Nest where we watched Hummingbirds thru our yummy meal. Then back to the cabin to watch raccoons from the hot tub.. Slept til 10:30 this morning so we are scrambleing to check out. Off for a picnic lunch and hiking. I love you, Joel.
Do we have to leave? What a perfect 24 hours. The most romantic dinner at the Grouse Nest. Just the drive there made our 4x4 Jeep happy. It was secluded, beautiful and reflected my new wife in her wedding dress well. I love you too, Shannon.

We arrived to a beautiful fresh snow fall. Every branch on every tree glittered like a beautiful Christmas card. A family of deer greeted us at the front door, like they had been invited to share a secret only the two of us and the wonderful Elizabeth had planned! We stood in the corner of the deck with the snowflakes falling silently around us. We said our vows, we shared some tears. With a sweet warm kiss she pronounced us husband and wife in the most amazing setting any bride and groom could have hoped for! Thank you for the memory!

Well after 12 years of being together we decided to tie the knot. We were married by Elizabeth in a very private, romantic ceremony. We would highly recommend this stress free way of starting your new lives together! We enjoyed Stacey, our Traveling Chef. Wonderful food- “the best!” We also enjoyed the wonderful hot tub, very relaxing! We had a Wonderful honeymoon at the Retreat. There isn’t a thing I would do differently. We will be back! Enjoy it all!

One year ago today, my husband and I came here to be married and we stayed in this very cabin. We thought it was the best way to celebrate our first anniversary by staying here once again. We really like it here! No better place to take a “time out.” We had a wonderful time and I’m quite sure we will be back for more!!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Our picnic basket of food and wine was excellent! Our wedding was awesome, our family was present which made it perfect. This was a second wedding for both of us. We have known each other for fifteen years. After we arrived back to our cabin we found rose petals leading up the staircase to the bedroom which had candles everywhere and a rose heart on the bed. It was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have picked a more special place. A chef will be arriving soon to cook a special dinner. The Getaway Cabins crew does an amazing job to make your wedding day a very special moment. Everything was perfect! Thank you for allowing us to have a very special day!

We came to Getaway Cabins to get married. We had a beautiful ceremony in the Gazebo which was beautifully decorated. Elizabeth officiated it and did a wonderful job. What a sweet gal she is! We’ve enjoyed our honeymoon here and I am sad to leave the hot tub, sleeping in, and the animal visits. The deer and hummingbirds especially like our little feedings. The cabin is adorable and the serenity and solitude was exactly what we were looking for. We had the chef prepare us dinner and that was very good! I would highly suggest treating yourself to that. We had a beautiful wedding-amazing solitude, friendly staff, a marvelous dinner-a perfect way to begin our marriage together!

Wow! What a wonderful romantic getaway. We were married on the 5th out in the Gazebo with Elizabeth officiating. The ceremony was so personal and beautiful. The wildlife around the cabin and the area was a wonderful sight. We saw wild turkeys, raccoons, deer, squirrels, a red headed woodpecker and all the other birds of this area. Everything was just simply marvelous! The hot tub was so relaxing! The staff were very friendly and the cabin was clean and very peaceful. We are planning to return in the fall and, of course, next year on our one year anniversary. Thanks for making our wedding and honeymoon such a memorable one.
