My new husband and I came here to have a personal wedding...We got here on the day of our wedding and everything looked perfect!  I found Getaway Cabins online and it looked and sounded so nice we drove 5+ hours to get here, and YES, it was worth it! :) They set our honeymoon up perfectly.  We bought the "Ultimate Fantasy" package and everything was worth the price!  The outside setting of our wedding was beautiful although it was a mixture of rain/snow which started not long before our ceremony.  However, although the weather was horrid and I got my wedding dress all muddy and was freezing my whole ceremony, everyone here made it amazing and I wouldn't change anything!  We had a picnic lunch waiting in our cabin when we got back, our room was decorated beautifully and later on a chef came and cooked us an amazing dinner in our cabin.  What a pristine, personal, quiet, and secluded place to get married!  Last night here and I don't know how many times we've said we don't want to go back home to crazy city life!  I have nothing bad to say about this place and we already plan on coming back next year for our one year anniversary!  Special thanks to Elizabeth and Patrick for making our day an unforgettable one!

I am at a loss for words as to what to say about our stay.  Elizabeth was so accommodating and we had our wedding while we were here.  It was amazing.  Our familiy drove up here and it was the best time I, or my husband, have ever had. The cabin is like our little love den...so cozy!  The hot tub was awsome.  We only used it once, but it was very, very cool!  We would love to come back.  We made so many amazing memories.  This place is unforgettable!

We started the day by getting married by Elizabeth.  She did an excellent and efficient ceremony at Old Man's Cave.  The hot tub was awesome!  We went all out and got the Ultimate Fantasy package and stay.  Getting married and spending our honeymoon here was spectacular!  We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and loved it.  The Bed of Roses and votives were very romantic!  The cheese on the picnic try was fabulous!  We have no idea what it was, but it was great.  The stay was delightful...we had the best time ever!  Thanks for everything.

Everyone has been wonderful!  Elizabeth did an amazing ceremony and Carol took amazing shots.  Everything was absolutely perfect and better than I had hoped!  I wish we had a little more time, though! Your friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home.  Thank you all for making our wedding so special.  We got exactly what we wanted, and I could not have imagined anything better.  Thank you for giving us our perfect day!!!

To the Staff at Getaway Cabins

 

Carl and I would just like to say thank you for making our wedding so beautiful and memorable.  Everything was absolutely perfect.  When all was said and done, the wedding and honeymoon was exactly what Carl and I had dreamed of--and then some.  Some of our friends have expressed interest in possibly doing the same thing when they get married.  We would certainly recommend Getaway Cabins to all of our friends.

 

Everyone made us feel at home, and added to our pleasant stay--even though our stay wasn't near long enough!   We are looking forward to a return trip!

This was our first time visiting Hocking Hills and Getaway Cabins.  We got married on the 11th, and it was wonderful.  After we got married, we went to the Grouse Nest and they had great food!!!  We will have these memories for the rest of our lives...so peaceful and pretty, and we've seen so many deer.

We came down from Northwest Ohio to get married and spend our honeymoon.  We got married in Ash Cave and this was so special.  The cabin was so warm and relaxing after the "big day."  Wish we could have stayed longer...next time for sure!  We are planning our 1st year anniversary right here.  Thanks for the memories!

We had a wonderful stay in the Ladybug Loft (#6).  As soon as we arrived we knew we had made the right choice.  We married at the Log Gazebo on May 2nd and spent the rest of the time relaxing in the cabin and hot tub.  We plan on coming back for anniversaries and would recommend Getaway Cabins to anyone.

We searched online for the place that would be perfect to have a private and romantic wedding.  The Ladybug Loft was that perfect place!  We arrived here and were treated so kindly by everyone her throughout our stay.  With it being so very cold and having a lot of snow and ice to deal with meant that we were married right here inside.  It couldn't have been any more special!  They decorated it in here and it couldn't have been any more perfect.  The ceremony being performed right here in the cabin made our stay even more special.  They took wonderful pictures and did everything to make it special for us.  We didn't see a lot of wildlife, but we did a lot of hiking in the snow.  The hot tub was awsome!  We spent most of our time in the cabin since the weather was so bad, but this was the coziest place and we enjoyed every moment here.  We plan on coming back in the fall so we can enjoy some of the other places in the area.  The Ladybug gave us a lot of memories and the staff here helped make it even more special.  Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality and making our stay so magical!!

We were married in the Log Gazebo on February 4, 2008.  It couldn't have been more special.  It was everything we hoped for and more.  This really was a very private and relaxing getaway.  The dinner that the chef prepared for us was spectacular!  We will definiely be coming back.

We just got married and we had a blast!  It couldn’t have been more beautiful.  We really enjoyed the weather, and the cabins are beautiful.  I’m so happy they were so quiet and secluded.  My new husband and I plan to return.  We also enjoyed the friendly customer service…that’s what it is all about!  Great place to get married, great place to spend the night!  Thank you.
